Feta Pasta Bake with ‘Nduja and Hot Honey
Who doesn’t love a pasta bake? It’s the ultimate hearty midweek dinner that you can easily put together, and then pop in the oven to do its thing.
This version includes a spreadable Italian sausage called ‘nduja, plus some yummy, crumbly YAMAS! feta and a whole bunch of delicious, herby veg.
With the final addition of sweet, hot honey, you really do have a fusion feast the whole family will love.
Serves 4 | Time: 50 minutes | Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 1 pack YAMAS! feta
- 300g cherry tomatoes
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 40g ‘nduja (if you’d like it veggie, you can leave it out or use a meat-free version)
- Handful fresh thyme leaves
- 1-2 tbsp hot honey
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 300g pasta
- Handful basil leaves, chopped
- Garlic bread to serve
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
- Put the tomatoes, garlic and ‘nduja into a baking dish.
- Scatter the thyme leaves, drizzle with oil and the hot honey and mix well.
- Nestle your YAMAS! feta into the middle of the dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the feta has softened and the tomatoes are cooked.
- Ten minutes before the feta has finished baking, cook the pasta following the packet instructions.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven, add chopped basil leaves, and stir well, making sure the baked feta breaks up into small chunks. (Add some of the pasta water if things need loosening up a little.)
- Add the drained pasta to the baking dish and stir through.
- Serve straight away and enjoy with your favourite garlic bread
